Last week of school

It is the last week of school.  The kids are so ready to be done.  I am too!  I can't wait spend even more time with them.  I was out at the trailer again this morning unloading groceries and making sure we have enough towels and toilet paper to get us through a few days at least.  Hopefully we'll be camping this weekend.

When I was there this past Saturday, I wrote a note to each of the kids to celebrate their year end and all the successes they have had.

Carys completing Kindergarten.  She is reading and writing so well.  She has made some nice friends and she has gained confidence in herself.  I am so happy to see her happy!  I love her imagination and energy.  She is such a delight!
Jonah completing Grade 2.  He has worked hard with determination and has done extremely well.  He has also learned how to make good choices independent of what his "friends" are doing.  He is such a wonderful boy.  I am so thankful for his love and laughter everyday.

The year started off kind of rough for Zachary but he faced his fears and challenges head on.  I am beyond proud of him!  He is a fantastic student and athelete and I know God has great plans for him!  I am so thankful for his conscientiousness and for the concern he shows for others.

What a year Benjamin has had.  Grade 7!  He has done very well and continued to make good choices.  I am so proud of him for his positive contribution to EPS through the alphastar program, for his academic success and for his effort and achievement at swimming!
