Carys "6th" birthday

Carys real birthday isn't until July, but with school almost over and the anticipation of all we are going to do this summer, I decided to have her party early.  This way, all her friends from school would be able to attend.
My first choice was to have it at a pottery studio but we have to wait until next year as the artist only does parties for children 7 years and older.

Carys first choice was McDonald's so that is where we had it.
It was actually a lot of fun!
The girls played in the play area.
Then ate some food.

We opened presents and ate birthday cake.

Here is the cake- one of my favourite projects for the week.  It was a lot of work (six cakes, six different colours and 7 tubs of icing!)  But seeing Carys huge smile  made it all worth it.
A beautiful day for a beautiful girl.
