Summer
How do you say no to this adorable face? Even if it is only 6 the morning? Summer and I have fallen into the routine of going for an early morning walk and then crawling back into bed until everyone else wakes up. Ah Summer at the campground...

Another rainy day. I have to applaud the kid's though-a week of rain and yet still everyone is alive! They have made the best of the weather; playing lots of ministicks and Lego inside
The weather man is promising sun for tomorrow so today we will head into town to catch up on laundry and buy more food.
I told the kids this morning that we go through so much milk we might be better to buy a cow! They looked at me like I was crazy

Time to smell the flowers
Another fun filled day at the camper
Took time to smell the flowers this morning
Madagascar with Aunt Kim, Bradley and Abbey this afternoon
And when the sun came out there was time for an evening swim

CVAC banquet
Despite the name of this blog "Thursday mornings", now that summer is here I am going to try to post a picture a day to capture the magic of this beautiful season.
Fortunately, I have an easy, first post.
Last night, Mark and I attended the CVAC banquet with Benjamin. It was such a fun evening. Food was great. So were the people and program.
Benjamin was honoured with the top swimmer award for the blue group. Coach Mel gave a beautiful, touching speech about him. Brought tears to my eyes.
So proud of you B!!!

It's the little things
I went for my usual early morning walk and came back to find my spot in bed taken. Carys still loves to sneak in and sleep with her daddy and I.
I decided to forgo grabbing some extra rest and take advantage of the quiet time to finish packing as we are officially heading to the campground today.
But first I stole a peek into Carys room.
This is my daughter's world. She can play for hours with her little figurines and treasures.
It is just the sweetest thing and it always makes me smile.

Thanks A Latte For Being Such a Wonderful Teacher!
thanks a "latte" teachers!, a set on Flickr.
Here are a few more snap shots from the last day of school. We gave second cup "latte" glasses with a handwritten note and gift card inside. The note began "thanks a latte for being such a wonderful teacher!" I think they liked them!
from flickr to here
kdpj2011's photostream on Flickr.
Well I didn't exactly mean to show all my photos on here from Flickr. Will have to figure out how to only display the ones I want!
The top four pictures are of the kids posing on their last day of school for 2012.
The rest were taken over the last year. On days when I was feeling a little creative I guess.
Always nice to look at pictures and remember....
