It is so hard to believe that 2 1/2 weeks of Christmas vacation is over.  We have had an amazing time!
Even though it's been a little crazy nad my house needs some tlc desparately; I am going to miss the smiles, hugs, talks, laughs, tears, messes, adventures and noise!
I'll miss knowing what my kids are doing every minute of the day and the peace I find in knowing they are happy and safe.
Tomorrow I can't be with them.  But you can Jesus.  So please take their hands and guard their hearts. 
Thank you for the time we've spent together.  Thank you for all the wonderful memories we made.

Bible Verse Exchange

I can't think of a more beautiful way to start the new year, than by receiving a new bible verse each day from strangers and friends.
Not one to usually participate in chain email events, this was one that I just didn't want to say no to.
One day into it and two verses later, I have already been so blessed.

• Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you.  They are plans for good and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope.  In those days, when you pray, I will listen."

• Zephania 3:17  "For the Lord is living among you.  He is a might saviour.  He will take delight in you with gladness and with his love, calm your fears. 

• Joshua 1:9  "Have I not commanded you; be strong and courageous.  Do not tremble or be afraid.  For I am with you wherever you go."

• Exodus 14:14  "The Lord will fight for you.  You need only be still."

• Neh. 8:10  "The joy of the Lord is my strength."

• Luke 6:31  "Do unto others as you would have them do to you."

• Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of the Lord."

• 1 Peter 5:6-7 "Cast all my anxiety on Him because He cares for me."

• Psalm 18:28 "You O Lord keep my lamp burning.  You trun my darkness into light."

Sleigh ride!

Our new "New Year's Day" tradition.
Beautiful afternoon with a little bit of snow and soft snow flurries.
Had a great time with friends and of course our two fearless horses; Kim and Prince
